![]() Whilst this is Nicki’s first year coaching in senior football she joins us with a rich football pedigree having played for Chelsea, Charlton Athletic, Southampton and Bristol City, along with representing England at youth level. Our 3rd team coach is Nikki Ottley de la Salle. A recent graduate from the University of Bath Jack also worked with the women’s football 2nd team at Bath while he studied there, guiding them to successive mid-table finishes. In his seventh year working at NTU, this is Daniel’s third year coaching the Women’s Football program and his first with the 1st team, having coached the 2nd team previously, guiding them to a football league title and a futsal league and cup double in 2017/18. Daniel Corlett, UEFA B Licence with 10 years’ experience working in the women’s game, including at Derby County and Leicester City Girls Regional Talent Centres. Prior to joining us, she spent three highly successful years coaching the female program at Go Pro Sports Dubai Academy in the United Arab Emirates. Jenni is a UEFA B candidate who is also an NTU Alumni, having graduated in 2014. Our 1st team is coached by Jenni Foster and Daniel Corlett. We also have players who play at a high level externally for clubs such as Derby County, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Loughborough Foxes, Tottenham Hotspur and Notts County. People really care about how you’re doing and helping you get what you need to be successful.Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams play in BUCS, the national inter-university competition, whilst the 4th team plays out-of-competition games against other local teams.Īll teams have weekly coached training sessions and there is the potential for players to progress between squads as the season progresses.Īll our teams have been successful recently, winning at least one league title each since 2014, including the 1st team winning their league already in 2018/19. I’ve also been very lucky to work with other lecturers in the law school who have been amazingly helpful. My personal tutor is of course the first person I’d talk to if I had an issue. Who would you talk to? What would you do? What three words would you use to describe Nottingham? We’re not just limited to one city we can see all of the wonderful places the UK has to offer. Being in the Midlands means my husband and I can see so many different places throughout the UK. I’d give the course facilities high marks for having a centrally located campus that provides a strong feeling of community, while still allowing you to be connected to the wider world. I was accepted into several programmes and toured different campuses, but I thought NTU and Nottingham Law School would be best for me and my family. What marks out of 10 would you give for course facilities and why? The LLM – SQE 1 is quite an intense course, but it offers integrated learning that makes the law understandable and legible. I really like the collaborative learning approach at Nottingham Law School. I also greatly appreciated that the system valued work experience as part of the qualification process. The flexibility of the solicitor qualification really stood out to me. ![]() I was taking some time to reflect on my career when I thought that it was a great time to take my education to the next level and challenge myself. ![]() Over time I moved into more substantive roles within the intellectual property practice group, first as a legal assistant, then as a paralegal. I didn’t think I would stay in law, but I learnt that I really enjoyed it. When I finished my undergraduate degree nearly 10 years ago, I started working in the Conflicts Department of a large law firm. I knew that at Nottingham Law School I could build a community and a network where I could achieve all of my academic and professional goals and deepen my relationships within the law school over time. A graduate of the Trade Mark Practice Programme recommended Nottingham Law School, which offers programmes that are certified by both CITMA and IPREG. Ultimately, my goal is to qualify as a solicitor and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. ![]() The reputation of Nottingham Law School and its IP coursework are excellent. Why did you choose NTU and Nottingham Law School? The International Trademark Association (INTA) has announced Fiona Scott, as the 2022 winner of its INTA Members for a Better Society Award.
